[Proper handling and storage methods]

Avoid excessive load

Pulling it too hard or placing heavy objects on it may cause it to break or deform.

- Avoid contact with sharp or rough materials

Be careful of friction and rubbing as this may scratch the product surface.

Dropping or strong impact may cause damage.

・Avoid contact with chemicals

Perfume, cosmetics, alcohol, solvents, etc. may cause stains or discoloration.

・Pay attention to the storage environment

To prevent discoloration or fading, store in a well-ventilated place away from high temperatures, humidity, and direct sunlight.

- Take care of stains immediately

OVIAGE products are treated with Pearltone processing (https://www.pearltone.com/), which has the following effects:

- Repels water and prevents oil from sticking.

- Dirt is less likely to adhere.

- Prevents mold and deterioration.

However, even if these treatments have been applied, it is still necessary to promptly clean any dirt or other debris.

* Oily stains (cosmetics, oil, etc.)

The weak point of the pearl tone finish is the surfactants contained in neutral detergents, deodorant sprays, etc. For oily stains, use volatile oil (benzine) which can be purchased at a pharmacy.

・How to clean when using volatile oil (benzene)

1. Place a towel under the soiled area.

2. Soak another towel in plenty of volatile oil.

3. Gently press the soaked towel against the dirt to dissolve it.

4. Soak the towel in volatile oil again and wipe the area, blending it around to avoid creating ring stains.

5. If dirt remains, repeat step ④.

6. After cleaning, dry with a hair dryer.

*Please be careful not to rub the fabric when it is dry as this may damage it.

*When using, open flames are strictly prohibited and ensure adequate ventilation.

We recommend the spray-type Pearltone "Kyoto Oil Remover" which is easier to use than volatile oil. This product can easily remove oily stains, and because it contains the same ingredients as the Pearltone treatment, the effect lasts longer.

・How to care for your oil remover when using Kyoto Oil Remover

1. Spray from a distance of about 10cm from the stain.

2. Lightly wipe off with a towel before it dries.

3. Dry with a hair dryer from the outside to the inside.

*Please be careful not to rub the sprayed area too hard.

*Notes

- Please refrain from cleaning or removing stains yourself using commercially available detergents, as this will reduce the effectiveness of the pearl tone finish.

- Chemical stains such as ink and lipstick may cause stains.

- Pearl tone processing is not a coating process, so it does not prevent color fading.

- Please handle gently as rubbing hard when wet may cause wear.

- Depending on how it is handled and stored, mold, yellowing, shrinkage, etc. may occur.

・The strap is not pearl-tone processed. It may fade or transfer color due to alcohol, oil, or water. Please be especially careful of friction with bags or clothing.
